Refrigerator Tips:
Save some money and try to check these simple things first...

Clean your condenser. Most modern refrigerators have condenser coils that must be maintained by cleaning the dust off of them. Most refrigerators have these coils on the bottom of the unit and may be accessed from the front or the rear depending on model. Refer to your owner's manual or google your model number for more information.

Check for blocked airways. Most refrigerators have air inlets that bring in the cool air. When these get blocked by food or food packages, they may prevent air from circulating properly affecting the cooling of the refrigerator. Identify the incoming air ducts and keep them clear for maximum efficiency.

Check proper food placement. Sometimes food placement can affect the refrigerator cooling. If food placed too close to the front prevents door from closing correctly or puts pressure against the door causing it to "pop" open later, may cause the refrigerator to cool poorly. Simply observe the edge limits on your shelves to maintain good door closure.

Plug into other outlets. If your refrigerator is dead and none of the lights are on. Simply plug it into another outlet. It may be a bad plug or a bad/tripped circuit breaker.
